Last summer a customer from out of state came in the store to inquire about bass fishing. We explained to him
about the fall bass migration and when it would get started; the best dates, etc. In addition, we gave him a run-down
of the equipment he would need. The gentleman asked us if someone would be willing to show him the basics at the beach and
we enthusiastically said, "yes". He said he would call in the fall, and true to his word he did.
Upon his departure, we gave him our cell phone number and asked him to call to find out fishing
conditions and reports before his next visit. We did this for a sale, which was under ten dollars. The gentlemen made it down
to see us two more times, and on his third trip he managed to catch his first keeper! The expression on his face when he stopped
in the store to show us the fish was something we will never forget.

We had him come into the store again, where we were able to give him a crash course in basic knots and rigs; also
discussing different baits and their uses. We checked his tackle, took him to the beach, and taught him how to read the water.
We stayed with him for well over an hour, pointing out good places to fish and made sure he got started on the right foot.
